Join The Bangor Art Society
The Bangor Art Society is a non-profit 501(c)(4) association dedicated to promoting art and encouraging the creative spirit through a variety of programs, events, and art student scholarships. BAS meetings, which often feature artist presentations, are open to the public and take place on the third Tuesday of the month from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Bangor Public Library. We welcome new members and new ideas, taking delight in passionate, creative spirits!
Typical yearly BAS events include an All-Member show in February, the Open Juried Show in April/May, Paint Bangor Day in July which culminates in a silent auction, and the Annual Auction in November.
